Golf Day 2023

Dear All,

I and my fellow organisers invite you to enter a team to our 1st annual charity golf day being held on Friday 27th October 2023 at Knighton Heath Golf Club.

As a Community Amateur Sports Club, we would like to make this an annual tradition to help us to grow and develop our Cricket & Sports Club. Funds raised this year will go towards our much needed clubhouse renovation project.

The team competition is Bowmaker where 2 scores count for the first 6 holes, 3 scores for holes 7-12 and 4 for the last 6 holes. We would encourage club members to consider who outside of the club you could invite to make your 4 ball team to get as many people involved as possible.

In addition to the Team and Individual overall competitions, there are also prizes to be won during your round, we will have competitions including nearest the pin and longest drive.

For your post round meal we offer a choice of Fish & Chip or a Red Lentil & Coconut Dhal with Basmati Rice and Poppadoms.

During the presentation we will draw the raffle for the Wheelbarrow of Wine and will be running an Auction with various prizes to be won.

We appreciate times are very difficult for everyone, hopefully you will be able to help us with our quest. If you are or aren't able to play, there are plenty of other ways you can support the event by donating a prize for the auction/competitions, sponsoring one of the tee boxes for £30, sponsoring the event for £250 or volunteering your time in helping on the day. To avoid disappointment I would recommend entering your teams as soon as you can.
